LEAD Conference

The AACS LEAD conference is geared to state leadership. We encourage our state officers and executive directors to identify some leaders within their state who would benefit from this conference and invite them to register and participate.

Make plans now to attend the 2025 AACS LEAD Conference, February 3-5. Monday meetings (February 3) include the Accreditation Commission (morning) and Board of Directors (afternoon). The conference begins at 8:00 on Tuesday morning (February 4) and concludes at noon on Wednesday (February 5).

Speakers: Kelvin Cochran and Greg Baylor

Kelvin Cochran was fired from his job as fire chief by the city of Atlanta because he expressed Christian beliefs in a book he wrote. He is the author of Facing the Fire: The Faith That Brought “America’s Fire Chief” Through the Flames of Persecution.

Greg Baylor, senior counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom and director of the Center for Religious Schools, focuses on defending and advancing the religious freedom of faith-based educational institutions through advice, education, legislative and public advocacy, and representation in disputes
